Expertise: history of art and history of architecture

Kalınbayrak Ercan is an architect and architectural historian with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (2007), an MA (2011), and a PhD (2018) in Architectural History from Middle East Technical University, Türkiye. Her research interests include Roman architecture, cultural heritage, and architectural documentation in archaeological sites. She has been actively involved in archaeological fieldwork across Anatolia, contributing to excavations and surveys at sites such as Notion, Zile, and Aphrodisias, with a focus on architectural documentation. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University.
