Eleftheria Paliou is professor of Digital and Computational Archaeology at the University of Cologne (UoC), director of the Cologne Digital Archaeology Laboratory (CoDArchLab) and of the international MA Digital and Computational Archaeology. She specializes in computer applications in archaeology: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 3D modelling and analysis, spatial analysis and statistics, urban computing (spatial networks and spatial interaction modelling), computer simulation, machine learning.
