Eric Piette is an Assistant Professor at UCLouvain, specializing in Game AI, Machine Learning, Explainable AI, and General Game Playing (GGP). He leads the G ameTable COST Action, exploring AI for game heritage preservation. Previously, he contributed to the Digital Ludeme Project, developing Ludii, a General Game System. His Ph.D. research led to WoodStock, a winning GGP AI. His work bridges AI, game theory, and cultural studies.
