Expertise: prehistory and protohistory

I am a prehistoric archaeologist and substitute professor in the Department of Pre- and Protohistoric Archaeology of JGU Mainz. Since 2018, I am also working in the ancient DNA laboratory of JGU Mainz. My current project examines the interplay between culture and biology in Europe at the turn of the 3rd millennium BC, using innovative AI-assisted methods for data collection and analysis.
