Melda Küçükdemirci is an Assistant Professor in the Geophysical Engineering Department at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, where she earned her Ph.D. She has participated in postdoctoral projects at ITABC-CNR (Italy), GeoSat-IMS-FORTH (Greece), and DARKlab, Lund University (Sweden). Her research focuses on deep learning-based analysis of archaeological remote sensing data (LIDAR, satellite imagery, and geophysical). She is a member of the International Society of Archaeological Prospection.
