Expertise: mineralogy, petrology, igneous petrology, metamorphic petrology

Gülin is a researcher specializing in geochemistry, isotope geology, and archaeometry. After completing her PhD at Konya Technical University, she conducted research on mineral chemistry, geochemistry, geochronology, and isotope analysis at the universities of Perugia and Heidelberg. Her recent studies focus on the application of geochronological methods in active tectonic regions, U-Th dating of carbonates, and the use of spectroscopic and geochemical analyses for cultural heritage preservation. In addition, she employs programming languages such as Python and MATLAB for data analysis and statistical modeling. She has expertise in the analysis of geochemical and geochronological datasets, particularly in chemometric analyses. She actively participates in interdisciplinary projects utilizing advanced analytical techniques, including LA-ICP-MS, XRF, SEM, Raman, and LIBS.
