Michael A. Hedderich is a Junior Research Group Leader at Munich University and the Munich Center for Machine Learning, and a member of the ELLIS Society (European AI network). His research covers the intersection of machine learning, natural language processing, and human-computer interaction, with a special focus on how domain experts interact and leverage large language models and other foundational AI models. He is exploring how AI can assist archaeologists in analyzing artifacts and studying scientific literature.
